Natalie Ypma loves to collaborate! She's always willing to invest in other artists and the (local) artistic/ cultural community.
She does this by organizing pop-ups and exhibitions in divers locations.
Downstairs Gallery
DS gallery is a traveling pop-up gallery that provides an accessible stage for professional artists.
In 2016 Downstairs Gallery opened her first exhibition in a basement in de the famous Korte Putstraat in the city center of 's-Hertogenbosch.
With DS Gallery Natalie connects (with) the local art scene and gives artists of any kind the opportunity to organise a professional temporary exhibition in special (often empty) locations throughout the city . Natalie herself provides in the location, arranges loan agreements and mediates with location owners. She also takes care of promotion material and air play through social media, and organises opening ceremonies inviting local press et cetera. During the exhibition she's the point of contact and will be present at the location herself. When art is sold the artists only pay 10% promotion costs.
